HS Summer School

HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT REGISTRATION FOR SUMMER SCHOOL 2022

CLASSES: (dependent on sufficient enrollment in each class)
High School Algebra I
High School Geometry
High School Art I
High School World History

DATES/TIMES:              
June 13 to July 15, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 12:00 pm (except July 4)
           
PROGRAM:        
The five-week classes are the equivalent of a regular high school year long course, will count toward high school credits, and will affect the high school GPA. 

ELIGIBILITY:
Algebra I class is only offered for students who need to repeat Algebra I.  Students with a previous grade of  D or F will have their lower grade replaced by the higher.  Students who are repeating the class for review, who earned a C- or higher previously, will not have their grade changed. Students may not take Algebra I for the first time in summer school.
Geometry, World History, and Art I classes are offered for students who need to repeat the class or who want to advance a year. Students repeating the class to replace a D or F will have their lower grade replaced by the higher. Students wanting to advance a year by taking Geometry need to have completed Algebra I with an A or B and be recommended by their current math teacher. Students completing Geometry in summer school will advance either to Honors Algebra II or Standard Algebra II next school year.    

REGISTRATION:
Registration closes June 3, 2022.
Acceptance is contingent upon academic need and made on a first-come, first-served basis.
A maximum of 3 absences is allowable for credit to be received.
If a parent drops the class on or before June 3rd a full refund except for the $50 registration fee will be given.
If a parent drops the class after June 10th the full $200 deposit is non-refundable. If a parent drops the class on or after June 13, the full $495 is non-refundable. If the school cancels the class, full refunds will be given.
*A minimum of 12 must be signed up for each class to be offered.

COST:                
$495 for the five-week courses
$200 due upon registration (includes non-refundable $50 registration fee)
$295 due by the first day of class
 

Band Camp for Intermediate and Advanced Students

May 31-June 4, 2022

´╗┐Tuesday - Friday 9:00am-2:00pm (lunch break included)

Saturday - ALL DAY AT MAGIC MOUNTAIN

For intermediate to advance players. Camp focuses on sight reading skill, rhythm, and performance techniques.

Reserve your spot today! Space is limited! Band camp includes: Band t-shirt, food, games, and prizes. Meet new friends, improve your skills and enjoy crazy games Monday, water Wednesdays, fun food Fridays, outdoor movie night, and performance at Magic Mountain (tentative).

Cost: $155 (Includes Magic Mountain trip, band camp t-shirt, bar-b-que concert).
